See you in your next life

Suede's last concert was five years ago at London's Astoria. Still the most beautiful sound I've ever heard.

Reborn of Hui Li

Hui Li is a Chinese sneaker brand which was dominating basketball courts in mainland China in the 70s and 80s before Nike and Adidas invaded. I did an all red version with white 70 on one shoe and 80 on the other paying homage to the brand which holds a special memory of my childhood. Read more about the project by AMg Beijing.

My work will be featured in OYKOT Wieden + Kennedy Tokyo: 10 Years of Fusion exhibition at GGG gallery Tokyo.

"OYKOT is what happens when art, advertising and business collide. Ten years of embracing the fusion of culture and commerce at W+K Tokyo has allowed the OYKOT perspective to emerge. We invite you take a look at the people, the process, and the groove that go into making the work. How we see Tokyo. How we see the world."

I'm Outta Time

I wasn't a fan of Oasis's music when they were big during the 90's. But this single and its equally amazing video from their latest album totally overwhelmed me with its beauty and sentimentality.

Viva Marshall

It was the night of July 22nd, I was there watching Jarvis Cocker singing at Terminal 5.

"It all starts tonight
Tonight's the night I guess
So let's go take some drugs
And let's go have some sex

The first time it's alright
The future starts tonight
And you cannot make everything alright
But you could stop being wrong tonight

And someone's getting born
And someone's getting killed
Somebody falls in love
Somebody falls from a window-sill
But you, you just sit tight
Hiding out from life
And you cannot set the world to rights
But you could stop being wrong

Blindness results in point of view

We form our point of view often simply because we haven't or don't even bother to look and understand subjects from other perspectives.

A fantastic night at Blue Note

With some architect friends from London, we enjoyed amazing performance by vocalist Ledisi with Count Basie Orchestra at Blue Note this Sunday night. What a classy New York experience to escape the autumn chill.

Stand For Change

Always where I need to be

I am watching this video while thinking what it would make me feel if I watch this video again in the future when I no longer live in New York. I love this city so much that almost hate to see other cities become better.
